Mills Insurance Agency is a new agency locally-owned by Nick Mills who began the agency by branching out from another regional agency. Nick’s ultimate goal is to continue his efforts in providing a stable, professional, and competitive environment to find every client the protection they deserve.

Nick Mills is the proud owner of Mills Insurance of Kentucky. Since beginning his career in 2012 and earning the majority of licensing in 2013, he has accomplished many achievements along the way. He wrote the first policy for Erie Insurance in the state of Kentucky and was awarded Producer of the Year in 2015 by ERIE for the state of Kentucky.
Prior to starting Mills Insurance Agency, he worked as a producer for G.L. Herndon Insurance Agency. He began with G.L. Herndon Insurance in November 2014 which was when Erie Insurance Company entered into the Kentucky Market and when he achieved these great accomplishments.
He decided to branch off on his own to continue his great success and started Mills Insurance Agency, offering auto, home, life, and business insurance, as well as medicare supplement policies.
Outside of the day-to-day, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Hilary, and five children, Brady, Mason, Britton, Tanner, and Piper. You can usually find him at sporting or dance events for his children, or volunteering as a coach for his children’s sports team. He also serves as an ambassador with the Richmond Chamber of Commerce.
